The policy covers accidental destruction or damage to all fixed glass, which includes windows, door glazing, fun lights, and showcases fixed mirrored glass and glazed partitions.

The policy also extends cover to provide for reimbursement of costs for the necessary boarding up, following damage, pending glass replacement. The cover is that of indemnity therefore provides no room for betterment. However, the policy is provided on “All Risks” basis.

This cover may be extended to cover damage to glass mounting or framework.

The Plate Glass cover should be accepted on accommodation basis.
